How we keep your data secure

Wyzoo takes the security of your data very seriously. All uploaded customer data is encrypted and passed to a temporary database. Access to this temporary database is protected using the AWS Secrets Manager from Amazon Web Services.  Unless you specifically request that we save your data for future access and reference, all uploaded customer data is deleted.  Once you receive your report you will be asked if you want to save your data.

We use TLS encryption, which is the IETF standard designed to prevent any eavesdropping on transmissions. As a result, the transport layer remains secure due to the use of symmetric cryptography. Each end of the connection is protected by shared keys, which must match in order for the data to be read.

  • As we use Amazon Web Services for our cloud hosting, the following features are applied by default:
  • Amazon's Web Application firewalls using private networks with instances and applications
  • TLS encryption, which is the IETF standard designed to prevent any eavesdropping on transmissions. As a result, the transport layer remains secure due to the use of symmetric cryptography. Each end of the connection is protected by shared keys, which must match in order for the data to be read.
  • Automatic encryption of all traffic on the AWS global and regional networks between AWS secured facilities
  • All API calls between our applications and the website are regularly monitored using AWS CloudTrail including alerts using Amazon Cloud Watch

Throughout the creation and modification of all of our systems and services, our development team follows the Open Web Application Security (OWASP) protocols to ensure the security of the software itself.
